molasses cookies


Menoum, menoum, good biscuits as in the old days. These cookies were a copy of roundness. I liked it.

1 1 / 2 teaspoon baking soda
1 / 4 cup butter 1 tbsp

shortening 1 / 2 cup brown sugar 1 egg

1 / 2 cup molasses
1 / 4 cup water
1 / 4 cup sugar

Preheat oven to 120C (250 F) (I 350 ° )

Butter a cookie sheet. (Use a paper towel to spread the butter is much less messy!)

Sift the ingredients dried in a large bowl. (If you do not have a sieve, mix with a fork).

In another bowl, cream together butter defeats, shortening, brown sugar, eggs and stir in molasses and water. Mix well.
